Genesis

The Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC, Dharchula was founded on 02.08.1999 by NHPC – A Dauliganga power station.
Evolutionary Milestone
All infrastructure facilities are provided by project authority i.e. NHPC at the time of opening of vidyalaya in 1999. Thereafter purchasing made by Vidalia for better improvement of the vidyalaya using School Fund and VVN.
In the tranquil valleys of Dharchula, amidst the Himalayan peaks and the flowing Kali river, a vision emerged—a beacon of knowledge and learning awaited its genesis. Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Dharchula arose from the collective aspirations of the community, a sanctuary where education would bloom, nurturing young minds with wisdom and opportunity.
